My daughter just found one of these under a rock in our back yard, here in Garland, Texas. She was upset because she thought it was trying to eat slugs which she is fond of....and she was not any happier to hear it was after her beloved rolly-polies!

Thank goodness someone finally solved this mystery for me. I have a spider phobia & these fellas keep popping up inside my home, creeping me out terribly! At least I now know that it's not poisonous!

Wow, we foun one of these in our house and we were so scared of it, we thought it was poisonous. If we didn't know what it was, we could've killed it. We let it go after reading this though. Our gardens are overrun with sowbugs.
