Scenes from Cypress Creek

Video of section of Cypress Creek near the weir located about 1,000 feet of the Cox Creek Parkway Bridge going over the creek. There is a nice little Cypress Tree bog near the weir. This video was taken between 7:30pm and 8:00pm- you can hear the Green Tree Frogs clearly.

Love the video Daniel! Is this your son? I bet Morgan will be impressed when she see him standing in a kayak!! I enjoyed hearing the green tree frog too! Can't wait to see the fish photos.

Hi Eve, yes that is my son, Sebastian, age 11. I am also impressed that he can stand in the kayak and row it like a pirogue (small boat used by the Cajuns to pole around the bayous in Louisiana). I tried standing in my kayak- and almost immediately lost my balance and almost fell into the water- but he makes it look easy.

I really enjoy kayaking or canoeing along the shoreline and enjoying the tranquility of being on the water!

Lake Guntersville is a fantastic place to explore, by the way! As is Goose Pond. :)
